The Little Prairie Blanket is a baby blanket version of the Peaceful Prairie blanket, a reimagining of the classic Prairie Star quilt design.
Let the beautiful colorways of Lion Brand Mandala self-striping yarn do the work for you while you double crochet. Both the main color and contrast color yarns are carried throughout the blanket in the tapestry crochet style. Hardly any yarn tails to weave in!
Finished size: 32 inches square (81.3 cm)
Hook: 5 mm (US H/8). Not included, but you can add it on to your kit. 4 mm hook (US G) for the border.
The kit includes:
Main Color yarn- 1 skein of Bernat Baby Sport yarn in Baby White. 100% acrylic yarn, 1252 yards per 350-g skein. This is a big ball of yarn, so you will have enough left over to make a second Little Prairie along with yarn from your stash for the contrast color yarn if you like, OR 3 balls of Hobbii Amigo in Black 100% acrylic yarn, 191 yards per 50 gram ball.
